how do I backup my restore points to a usb card

Somebody or something is deleting them and the pc w11 will not access internet

    Hi jeff wicks,

    System Restore points are designed to be stored on the PC and can't be backed up or exported directly to a USB drive. They may also be removed automatically over time as Windows manages available storage space for restore point data.

    As an alternative, you can create a recovery option that is stored externally:

    1. Connect a USB drive.
    2. Search for Recovery Drive in the Start menu.
    3. Open it and follow the prompts to create a recovery USB.

    You may also want to create regular backups of your personal files to an external drive or cloud storage for additional protection.

    There is no native process available in Windows to backup your system restore points, that has never been an option in Windows.

    Windows updates is the most likely cause of your system restore points being deleted, if you have plenty of space on your drive, Windows updates will sometimes delete the restore points after an update to maintain system stability and stop old and new versions of system files being mixed together.

    If you have a problem accessing the Internet:

    A
    Right click your Start Button and open Device Manager.

    Expand the 'Network Adapters' section.

    Please provide a screenshot of that full Device Manager window.

    Click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.
