    Hii,

What model is your GPU and what monitor?

Search for msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here so we can see the correct laptop model or desktop configuration.

    Thanks

    Welcome H Jadidi,

I understand how frustrating it can be when Windows 11 is not detecting your HDMI-connected monitor as an available audio output device.

Before troubleshooting further, could you please clarify:

    • Does the monitor have built-in speakers or an audio-out/headphone port?
    • Is the monitor listed under Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers or Audio inputs and outputs?

In the meantime, you can try these steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

Option 1: Check the playback devices

    • Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sound settings
    • Under Output, check whether the monitor appears in the list
    • If available, select it as the output device

Option 2: Show disabled audio devices

    • Open Control Panel > Sound
    • On the Playback tab, right-click an empty area
    • Enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices
    • If the monitor appears, right-click it and select Enable

Option 3: Reinstall the display and audio drivers

    • Open Device Manager
    • Expand Display adapters and Sound, video and game controllers
    • Right-click the graphics adapter and audio device, then select Uninstall device
    • Restart the PC and allow Windows to reinstall the drivers

Option 4: Update the graphics driver

    • Open Device Manager
    • Right-click the display adapter and select Update driver
    • Also install the latest driver from the manufacturer's website (Intel, NVIDIA, or AMD)

Option 5: Run the audio troubleshooter

    • Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters
    • Run the Playing Audio troubleshooter

I hope the steps above help you deal with your issue.
