Welcome Allan Minnaar,
I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP laptop is not detecting your JBL Live Beam 3 Bluetooth earbuds.
Before proceeding, could you please clarify:
- Which version of Windows are you using (Windows 10 or Windows 11)?
- Do the JBL Live Beam 3 earbuds appear when you put them into pairing mode and search from another device, such as a phone?
In the meantime, you can try these steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Option 1: Turn Bluetooth off and on
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices
- Turn Bluetooth off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on
Option 2: Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter
- Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
- Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter
Option 3: Check Device Manager
- Open Device Manager
- Expand Bluetooth
- If you see any Bluetooth device with a warning icon, right-click it and select Update driver
Option 4: Restart the Bluetooth service
- Press Windows + R, type
services.msc, and press Enter - Locate Bluetooth Support Service
- Restart the service and set Startup type to Automatic
Option 5: Remove previously paired JBL devices
- In Settings > Bluetooth & devices, remove any older JBL entries
- Restart the PC and try pairing again
I hope the steps above help you deal with your issue.
