    Welcome Allan Minnaar,

I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP laptop is not detecting your JBL Live Beam 3 Bluetooth earbuds.

Before proceeding, could you please clarify:

    • Which version of Windows are you using (Windows 10 or Windows 11)?
    • Do the JBL Live Beam 3 earbuds appear when you put them into pairing mode and search from another device, such as a phone?

In the meantime, you can try these steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

Option 1: Turn Bluetooth off and on

    • Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices
    • Turn Bluetooth off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on

Option 2: Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

    • Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
    • Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

    Option 3: Check Device Manager

    • Open Device Manager
    • Expand Bluetooth
    • If you see any Bluetooth device with a warning icon, right-click it and select Update driver

Option 4: Restart the Bluetooth service

    • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter
    • Locate Bluetooth Support Service
    • Restart the service and set Startup type to Automatic

Option 5: Remove previously paired JBL devices

    • In Settings > Bluetooth & devices, remove any older JBL entries
    • Restart the PC and try pairing again

I hope the steps above help you deal with your issue.

    Hi ,

Search for msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here so we can see the correct laptop model or desktop configuration.

Is it just not detecting the JBL or other devices?

    Thanks.
