Email has switched to Aptos Font and the cursor has moved into the center of the message to be written

Hello Thomas Navin,

I understand that the compose font changed to Aptos and the typing position now starts in the center of the message in classic Outlook for Windows.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors do not have access to your Outlook settings.

Open a new message, place the cursor in the message body, and press Ctrl + L to restore left alignment. You can also select Format Text and then Align Left. If the text remains indented, select Decrease Indent on the same tab until the cursor returns to the left margin.

To change the default font:

1. Select File > Options > Mail.
2. Under Compose messages, select Stationery and Fonts.
3. On the Personal Stationery tab, choose Font under New mail messages, select the preferred font and size, and then select OK.
4. Repeat this under Replying or forwarding messages if replies are also affected.

If the cursor still starts in the center, please confirm whether this occurs in every new message, only in replies, or only when a signature is inserted.

I hope these steps restore the normal message layout.
