On the 21 of July my main account was hacked by a user. He changed the main email address to [moderator's note: PII removed]****@gzabharti.com. I managed to get access to the account again through my xbox account (minecraft) but could not change anything due to fact that now I have to wait for 30 days to change anything on my account again. On the 28th he changed the main email to [moderator's note: PII removed]@embergranitemail.live and again I got access to my account by recovering the the password the same day. Today the main email is changed again, this time [moderator's note: PII removed]****@bumpusgdss.com and this time I don't know if I can get back into the account again. The self help option on the Microsoft account recovery page is pretty useless at this stage seeing that I'm sort of locked out of my account.

I have removed all personal info, accounts, subscriptons ect. the first time I got access back but this keeps happening. I can't changed or remove anything from the account and the AI assistant/login in helper function is of no use. Might as well just do nothing as this stage.

  1. Is there any other way where I can get my account back and secure it from happening again.
  2. Can I move my PC Game Pass from my original microsoft account to my new one?
  3. Or should I just make peace with this?

Actually feeling very frustrated at this stage because the lack of human interference/help from Microsoft.

For your privacy and security, I have covered the personal information included in your post. Please avoid sharing any personal or sensitive information publicly, such as serial numbers, order details, email addresses, phone numbers, or case-related information.

    Hi Jandre Nieuwoudt,

I can understand how frustrating and exhausting this must be, especially after you managed to regain access more than once, only to find that the account details had been changed again.

Since this appears to be a repeatedly compromised Microsoft account rather than a standard Windows sign-in issue, please start with the official hacked or compromised account recovery guidance. The Sign-in Helper provided there may guide you to available recovery or support options based on the information you enter.

If you regain access, first scan your device for malware, change the password from a trusted device, review the account’s recent activity and security information, remove any unfamiliar recovery methods or devices, and enable Microsoft Authenticator or another strong verification method.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, cannot access account records, reverse security changes or restore an account directly. If the recovery tools do not resolve the issue, you can use the Microsoft Support contact page and explain that the sign-in alias has been changed repeatedly despite previous recoveries. Please keep in mind that support agents must still follow Microsoft’s account ownership and security verification process.

Regarding PC Game Pass, subscriptions and purchases are generally associated with the Microsoft account on which they were obtained. Please contact Xbox Support so the appropriate team can review the subscription options available in your specific situation. Do not share passwords, verification codes, recovery codes, payment details, or email addresses publicly in this thread.

I know this is not the news you were hoping for, but I wanted to make sure you received the safest and most accurate direction for your situation. I hope you are able to regain and secure the account soon. Thank you so much for your understanding.
