I drafted a calendar entry with details that I would like to use for a note as well. I did not send the calendar entry and now I can't seem to find it. How would I find the draft calendar entry ?

    Hi David,

If you closed a meeting invite without sending it, Outlook doesn't save it to your mailbox Drafts folder — it saves the invite directly on your calendar, marked with "[Draft]" in front of the event title.

    1. Open Calendar.
    2. Go to the date/time you originally set for that entry.
    3. Look for an event titled "[Draft] <your subject>" sitting right there on the calendar. It'll look like a normal event but with that prefix.
    4. Click it and select Edit to open it and see the full details.

If it's not visible at that date for some reason, try the calendar search bar and type a distinctive word from the subject or details you remember, the "[Draft]" prefix is searchable text too.

For more information, please consult Save a meeting invite as a draft in Outlook | Microsoft Support

However, if you're unable to find it in Classic Outlook, please check Outlook on the Web. If it's not listed there either, let me know and I'll guide you through the next steps.

I hope these information provide some information and clarity to your issue. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
