Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar
Hi
Please try the steps below:
- Open Outlook.com Calendar in a browser.
- Select Settings in the upper-right corner, then select Calendar.
- Go to Shared calendars.
- Under Calendar updates, clear the check boxes for the shared calendars you no longer want email notifications from. This should stop update emails while keeping the calendars available to view.
- If the setting is not visible, try the same steps in another browser or an InPrivate/Incognito window, then check again in Outlook.com Calendar.
- If the emails still arrive after turning off the shared calendar update option, you can create an Outlook rule as a workaround to move those notification emails out of your Inbox:
- Open one of the calendar notification emails.
- Select More options.
- Choose Rules or Create rule.
- Move similar messages to a folder such as Calendar notifications, or to Deleted Items if you do not need to keep them.
- If this is a work or school account instead of Outlook.com, please confirm that detail, because shared calendar notification settings may depend on your organization’s Microsoft 365 configuration.
Please tell me how it goes. If the problem persists, please reply with whether you are using Outlook.com, new Outlook for Windows, or a work/school Microsoft 365 account.
