Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook on the web for business
Try these steps in Outlook on the web:
- In the left sidebar, select the three-line icon to show the folder pane if it is hidden.
- Expand Folders and any parent folders. New folders can be created as subfolders under another folder, so the folder may be inside a collapsed parent.
- If the folder pane still does not appear correctly:
- Sign out of Outlook.com.
- Clear the browser cache.
- Close all browser tabs and windows.
- Sign in again.
- If the folder is visible only when moving mail, right-click the folder where it was created and check whether it was added as a subfolder.
- If needed, right-click a visible folder in the folder list and use the folder context menu to create or reorganize folders.
In Outlook Web App, the folder list can be expanded or collapsed, and folders may be nested under other folders. In some cases, clearing the browser cache and signing in again restores the left folder pane.
