Hi Kayla Weikel,
What you're seeing is generally expected on current versions of Windows 11. The calendar that opens when you click the date and time on the taskbar is a simplified date view and doesn't provide the same event-management features that were available in the legacy Calendar app.
If you'd like to confirm that the calendar experience is available on your device, you can try these quick checks:
- Press Win + R, type
outlook.exeand press Enter. - If Outlook opens, select the Calendar icon from the navigation pane.
- If Outlook is not installed, check Settings > Apps > Installed apps and search for Outlook.
- If Outlook appears but won't launch, select Advanced options > Repair.
If you're signed in with a Microsoft account, you can also access and manage your calendar through Outlook on the web to verify that your calendar data is available.
I hope this helps clarify the change in behavior. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
