    Hi, @j ogden

First, please open https://account.microsoft.com/services in a browser and sign in with the Microsoft account you believe has the subscription.

Check whether Microsoft 365 shows as active there.

Then, on the new iPad, open Word, Excel, or the Microsoft 365 app and make sure you are signed in with that same Microsoft account.

    To help narrow this down:

    1. Is your subscription Microsoft 365 Personal or Family?
    2. Does the subscription show as active on the Services page?
    3. What exact message do you get on the iPad, for example "No subscription found" or something different?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!

On iPad, the subscription usually is not added as a separate device entry. The Microsoft 365 benefits are applied when the Microsoft 365 apps are installed and signed in with the correct Microsoft account.

    Try this:

    1. Install or open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint on the iPad.
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account that owns the Microsoft 365 subscription.
    3. In a browser, verify that the same account and password work for the subscription.
    4. If the iPad still shows No subscription found or This Apple ID doesn't have a paid Microsoft 365 subscription, reset the app:
      • Open iPad Settings.
      • Select an Office app such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
      • Under RESET, tap Reset <app name>.
      • Turn on Delete Login Credentials.
      • Close the app completely, then open it again and sign in.

If the subscription was purchased through the App Store, it must be managed through Apple ID settings, and those purchases are billed through the app store account.

Also note that Microsoft 365 allows sign-in on up to five devices at the same time. If more than five devices are already signed in, the first device is signed out automatically. Signing in again on the iPad should apply the subscription there.
