Hello,

I am trying to create a Microsoft 365 Developer Program sandbox, but I receive the following error:

"No billing accounts found"

I have already verified the following:

  • The billing account exists in Azure Portal.
  • The billing account status is Active.
  • I am assigned the Billing Account Owner role.
  • Billing profiles exist under the billing account.
  • I am using the same Microsoft account for both Azure Portal and Microsoft 365 Developer Program.
  • More than 3 days have passed since the billing account was created.
  • Browser cache and InPrivate mode were tested.
  • No browser errors were found in Developer Tools.

Additional information:

  • Billing Account Name: Big Bang System Corporation
  • Billing Subscription Count: 0

Despite the above, the Microsoft 365 Developer Program portal displays "No billing accounts found" and does not allow me to proceed.

Could you please investigate why the billing account is not being recognized?

Thank you.

    Hi @yhamada

Based on my research, I found that a few other users experienced a similar issue with the “No billing accounts found” error.

You may find the information and solutions shared in the following Microsoft Learn article and discussion helpful:

Since your billing account currently shows 0 billing subscriptions, you may want to review these resources and check whether the information applies to your situation.

If the issue persists after trying the relevant steps, further investigation would require assistance from the Microsoft 365 Developer Program support team, as they have access to tenant provisioning information and backend diagnostic data. For Unified/Premier, you may create a ticket online or contact support by signing in to Engage Center as Developer Support is available as an optional component of Microsoft Unified Support.

You can read more at Open a new Support request - Microsoft Engage Center | Microsoft Learn

Please note that this is a paid support ticket, which means it requires an active support plan or a one-time support purchase. However, the benefit of using this channel is that your inquiry will be routed directly to the Microsoft Product Group responsible for the specific service or feature in question. This team includes engineers and developers who work on the product itself, so they are best positioned to provide accurate, in-depth, and authoritative answers especially for complex or edge-case scenarios that go beyond publicly available documentation or community knowledge.

As a community member, I don't have access to your tenant configuration or Microsoft's backend systems, so I can only provide guidance based on publicly available information. A Microsoft support engineer will be in the best position to determine whether this is a tenant-specific or service-side provisioning issue.

    Hope this helps.
