I seem to have multiple accounts under my name and when registering for an exam its causing issue. Can I merge

It depends on which accounts are involved:

• Microsoft personal accounts and Microsoft 365 work or school accounts cannot be merged. They can only be used side by side.
• Two separate Microsoft personal accounts also cannot be merged.
• Microsoft Learn profiles can be merged in some cases, which combines learning progress, credentials, and transcripts.

For exam and certification issues, the supported path is:

1. Sign in to the Learn profile intended to be kept.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Under Account Management, select Add Login account.
4. Sign in with the other login account.
5. If that account is already associated with another Learn profile, it triggers a profile merge.

Important details:

• A Learn profile can have only one personal Microsoft account.
• If the profile was created with a personal account, up to five work or school accounts can be added.
• Merging profile data can’t be undone.
• If credentials or exams are missing, first confirm that the correct Learn profile is being used and try signing in with any other account that may have been used to register for the exam.
