Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi Violet,
Thank you for sharing your concern.
In New Outlook, the meeting organizer cannot directly change the time zone for individual attendees. Outlook stores the meeting time in UTC and displays it according to each attendee’s own calendar time zone settings.
- The affected attendees can check their time zone in New Outlook by going to Settings > Calendar > View > Time zones.
-
- They should confirm that Display my calendar in time zone is set to the same time zone as the organizer. It would also be helpful to verify that the date, time, and time zone settings on their devices are correct.
If the meeting appears at the correct local time on each attendee’s calendar, the different time zone shown may only be a display difference and should not affect the scheduled meeting time.
I hope this information is helpful. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comment below. I'm very happy to help.
