Outlook, suddenly requires password

Outlook, on several systems on my domain, has suddenly began requiring end users to enter their credentials each time the use outlook. We've chosen the "save this password in my password list" but it hasn't helped. I assume this is related to an update applying. How can I fix this annoying issue?

I assume this is related to an update applying.

I noticed that you have done an update, do you mean an update on office? If not, please tell me what update you mean in the post. And what's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.

In order to better understand and help resolve your issue, please provide more detailed information about your issue:
what's the type of your account(Exchange/POP/IMAP)?
In addition to updating, did you perform any other special operations before this issue occurred?
And does this issue occur with other users in your organization?

Based on my experience, Outlook password prompt issue will be affected by many factors, such as incorrect cached credentials, corrupted account settings and so on. Please refer to this article and try the suggestions about the issue to check if there're any differences: Why does Outlook keep prompting for password.

Oddly enough, I pulled the latest Windows 10 update and applied it to the system and I haven't heard anything from the impacted end-users. I can't say with 100% certainty that the matter is resolved. Still knowing the end-users I'm sure I wouldn't need to make the slightest effort to know if the problem was still there.
