    Dear Bob,

A grey background on just one sheet usually comes from the view setting or the cell formatting, and both are easy to fix. The most common cause is that the sheet is in Page Break Preview, which greys out everything outside the print area. To switch back, please follow these steps:

    1. Select the grey worksheet tab.
    2. Go to View > Workbook Views > Normal.

This only changes how the sheet is displayed. Your data and print settings stay the same.

If the sheet is already in Normal view, the cells may have a grey fill applied. You can remove it this way:

    1. Click the triangle above row 1 and left of column A to select the entire sheet.
    2. Go to Home > Fill Color > No Fill.

Please note that this removes all cell background colors on that sheet, including any you added on purpose, such as table highlights.

If a background image was added to the sheet, you can remove it from Page Layout > Delete Background.

If none of these work, please share a screenshot so I can take a closer look. Before posting, please mask any personal or sensitive information.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to your reply.
