Open the direct Credentials-specific Engage Center request instead of selecting the Business Support workspace:
This exact route resolved matching cases where the general Credentials Support link redirected to Business Support or omitted the Learning options.^1^
Submit the request
- Sign in with the Microsoft account connected to the Learn profile whose legal name must be corrected.
- Open the direct link above.
- If the first attempt displays No Access, open the same link a second time after authentication. This retry was the moderator-recommended workaround for the same legal-name and Engage Center error.^2^
- The request should be pre-routed to Credentials Support. Where the fields appear, use:
- Product family: Learning
- Product or Service: Microsoft Credentials
- Type of Support: Professional No Charge
- Contact method: Email
- Include:
- A request to correct the legal name
- The exact error: No Access, continuous loading, or missing Learning/Credentials options
- Your Learn Username, found under Learn profile → Settings
- Screenshots of the error
- Whether an exam is already scheduled and its date
Credentials Support handles requests by email, even if the form exposes a phone option.^3^
Do not post your government ID, account email, or corrected legal name publicly in Q&A. Provide sensitive documentation only if the assigned support agent requests it through the support case.
If the direct route still fails
Try the direct route in a private browsing window while signed in only to the account associated with the affected Learn profile. If it initially returns No Access, retry it once after sign-in; the same two-attempt behavior has also been reported and accepted for personal Microsoft accounts.^4^
The normal entry point remains Credentials Support, but there is no reason to select an unrelated Business Support product when the direct Credentials-specific route works:
https://aka.ms/Credentials-Support
The legal name must match the government-issued ID used for exam identity verification, and an already-registered exam requires Microsoft support approval for the change.^5^
