How to differentiate between windows 10 and windows 11 using os version number?
Both of them have major version 10 and minor version 0. Only build number is different, however, build number of windows 10 will be increased and may be larger then 22000 in the future.

    Windows 10 build will not grow unlimitedly. we cannot say about the nature of the OS build, but generally, when a new version of Windows is released, the previous OS version will not increase. You can compare this to Windows 7 and Windows 10.

    For this issue, I consulted the Windows team. Windows 10 will continue to support at least one version of the Windows 10 Mid-Year Channel through October 14, 2025. Therefore, the operating system version of Windows 10 will not increase unlimitedly.

    Based on my understanding, the Windows 10 OS build number will not reach 22000. At least for now, the OS 22000 build number is the standard that distinguishes Windows 10 from Windows 11.

    But for now, you should be able to differentiate between 10 and 11 using the operating system's caption device property.
