Hello,

I have a problem with my Exchange 2013(CU 23) and deploying O365 Hybrid.

I have installed AADC on one of my servers and connected to the O365 tenant and synchronized the domain account with UPN which the same is my external domain.
The external domain is correctly added in O365.

To deploy hybrid I used domain admin with Organization Management role. From O365 I used an account with a global administrator role and include Business Premium Plan.

When I run HCW on my exchange I do this:

  • On-Premises Exchange Server Organization - I choose "Detected the optimal Exchange server" and I selected "O365 Worldwide"
  • In the next step, I sign in O365 account.
  • In Hybrid Features, I select Minimal Hybrid Configuration and select Organization Configuration Transfer.
  • In Hybrid Topology, I use exchange Classic Hybrid Topology.
  • In the User Provisioning step, I used I will install AADC later.
  • In the finishing step, I got an error: HCW8110 - Encountered errors while running organization configuration transfer.

Someone can help me?

Azure AD doesnt use another login. It uses the same synced UPN from on-prem.

    You need to add:

<user>@ <tenant_domain>.mail.onmicrosoft.com to the on-prem user and let it sync. Once it does, you should be able to move the mailbox.
