Hi,
It didn't give an option to set up as a work account. It said hello, asked which country and which language then tried to sign me in - I've managed to bypass it now by clicking the button on the left. But it now wants security answers to personal info which I don't know for the employee (and wouldn't ask for as they are commonly asked for banking etc such as first pet, mothers maiden names etc
How do I set up a laptop for work use only without a microsoft personal account?
I want to set up a small business laptop. The company has business 365 and the employee has a work email associated with it. This email won't work for setting up the laptop though.
Do I have to make her another (personal) account to use for work?
Thank you

I have managed to get around it by looking closely for a skip button which was not obvious as it all points to signing in.
Thank you -

It is the best practice to use the work account for a business laptop.
Kind regards,

then on this screen choose domain joined
then create a local account. From here you can either join domain or link the local account as needed.

2022-05-08T16:54:15.187+00:00 Hello Jeremy,
There was a tiny 'skip' option somewhere on the screen and it kept encouraging me to set up or use a personal account but I managed without. A few weeks later I set up another laptop (for me) and used my personal email ...and wished I hadn't as it all goes back to that one. Scan the screen with your eyes and mouse - I think it was on the opposite side of the screen to the 'next' button but can't guarantee that is accurate!
Good luck.
Andrea
