Use applocker to whitelist an application

Hi, i want to use applocker to whitelist Microsoft Edge for an account so that it can only run that application and nothing else. However after trying to configure there are still applications that can run such as file explorer and recycle bin? Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance!

    File Explorer and Recycle Bin are not applications and they are part of the Windows components, you may try opening applications like Calendar and see if the problem persist? I am not sure about your scenario, but you may consider configuring Kiosk mode instead. Take a look at:
