Azure Standard Support Plan Benefits?

If relevant, we are under an EA. When I have explored the support provision under our tenant and subscriptions we have "Standard" support cover and this is reflected when we raise tickets.

We have a Developer Team who at a previous organisation utilised Developet Support which isn't available under an EA, in any case Standard Support provides additional SLAs. That plan worked well for them.

What is unclear is the scope for assistance for the following and the link to the Support Plans and FAQs offers little clarity, in particular:

  • Third-party software support with interoperability and configuration guidance and troubleshooting - "Ticked" - I can find no detail as to what this covers and how we'd qualify this in a standard ticket
  • Architecture Support - "General Guidance" - This links to Azure App Consult which appears to be a ProDirect service and asks that requests are raised through a ProDirect Delivery Manager.. There's little clarity as to how we gain general guidance and what that extends to

At present, we get a prompt response to tickets but the impression is that it's basic support for break/fix and anything outside that is out of scope. Unified Support would be a better fit but the cost is prohibitive.

Please can someone advice what these extra Standard support benefits entail and how we best utilise them? Thank you.
