When using a REST API Linked Service when would I use Authentication Type "OAuth2ClientCredential?". I cannot see any documentation on this and have previously used a Web Activity to get a token?

    Hi @Dave Leach ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for posting query ask here.

REST connector now has support for "OAuth2ClientCredential" authentication type as well. Previously to achieve same, we should additionally configure authentication headers in authHeader property.

Please check below image for same.

But it seems official documentation for REST connector is not yet updated with "OAuth2ClientCredential" authentication type details. I will escalate this internally to product team to have documentation updated. Thank you so much.

Hope this will help. Please let us know if any further queries.
