Hi,

Currently I am using Azure Synapse to perform ETL to get data through API and sink to SQL database.

I then use Power BI desktop to Direct Query the database for my dashboard. I publish the dashboard/report to PowerBI Services/Web, but questions is how do I automatically get refreshed data from the SQL server?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @SoonJoo@Genting , ,
Thanks for the ask and using Microsoft Q&A platform .
If I understand right , you have the report created using PBI desktop . So to expose the reports so that others can use the report , you will have to publish the report in your workspace and then configure the data refresh . The steps for the dat refresh are called out here .
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-data

Also I suggest you to use the the pBI community forum to ask question in regards to PowerBI : https://community.powerbi.com/

Please do let me know how it goes .
Thanks
Himanshu
