The update is downloaded but after installing and restarting EDGE I have the message: Restart Microsoft Edge to complete the update. This on each restart.
Moreover, since this problem the translation of the pages is no longer done.
(all parameters for the translation are checked)

Hi @Ernest NOVET , What is the version of Edge that has this issue? Currently in my environment (win10 20H2), Edge has been correctly updated to Version 96.0.1054.34, and no such problem was found. And this issue may be caused by a variety of reasons, such as network, operating system, etc. Simply refer to this document and try to reinstall Edge. I think it will help you.
hi XuDongPeng-MSFT for information on my environment (win 10 21H2), EDGE 96.0.1054.24 and update 1.3.153.53 not finalized which creates the problem and blocks me the translation of pages in my language. Reinstalling and repairing does not fix it.

I found that the cause of this problem may be that Edge was not completely shut down. For example, when users open Edge on server, they actually use different instances of Edge. If the update of Edge needs to be completed, all instances need to be shut down properly. Simply referring to this similar case, I think you can check whether the Edge process is completely ended before restart.
hi XuDongPeng-MSFT, I tried different methods from the internet and your advice without success. So I decided to uninstall it. Then I reinstalled it at the end I got an error message (MS Edge .exe application error 0xc0000034.
I therefore switched to CHROME which works very well.
