I have a small network. 1 "server" and 4 PC's. I have network drives configured on 3 machines that have no issues. The 4th machine is not recognizing the "server" as a location on the network. It does see the other 3 machines and the other 3 machines see it.

    Hi there,

You probably need to enable network discovery and file sharing.

Open the desktop Control Panel. If you're in Category view, choose View network status and tasks. If you're in one of the icon views, choose Network and Sharing Center. Then, on the left, click Change advanced sharing settings.

Expand Private or Guest or Public depending on what you've called your current network connection. Make sure Turn on network discovery and Turn on file and printer sharing are enabled, then press Save changes.

Try running my Powershell script from this thread.

That should fix network discovery. On my home network, my router provides DNS support so that nslookup works. Are you using the same DNS servers on all machines?
