Hello,

I'm working with a user who has several buttons on the Outlook toolbar that are greyed out and don't work. They're not all greyed out but several are including: Read Aloud, Send to OneNote, Share to Teams, Report Phish, Send Documents, and Reply with Meeting Poll.

The system is Windows 10 version 10.0.19042 N/A Build 19042 with Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (32-bit) version 2102 13801.20808

I checked add-ins but nothing was listed as disabled and I didn't see the greyed out options listed anywhere. I also tried recreating the Outlook profile and reinstalling O365 but that didn't help.

I'm not sure what else to look at. Windows profile maybe? I didn't want to get into that unless I had reason to think it would help.

Thanks.

Hi @Chris Hansen , Is the Read Aloud function normal in other office applications? Such as Microsoft Word? 1.Try to remove Read Aloud and re-add it via File >Options > Accessibility > Show Read Aloud

According to your description, this Office version is a few months ago. It is recommended that you try to upgrade to the latest version to see if this problem exists: Click File > Office Account > Update Options >Update Now 154679-update.png In addition, in order to narrow down whether the issue is related to the particular user account, you can try to create a new profile and add this account on another normal user’s machine to see if the toolbar can work as expected.

Sorry, the problem has been resolved.

They have the software locked down so I wasn’t able to try all the suggestions so I passed it on to another group who is in a better position to look at it.
