Check whether MS SQL server had installed KB4583461

We are running MSSQL 2016 SP2 with CU17 installed. Auditor has asked whether KB4583461 is installed in the server. Is there a way to check as KB4583461 is old than the current CU? Is there a log file to check?

    Run the query

    select @@version

to get the build number and compare it with the list at

    KB4583461 is "old", it's CU15 from january 2021
You have a newer SP 2 CU17 installed, it include all previous CU.
So the answer is yes, the fix is installed.

"Cumulative Updates" include all previous updates.

KB4583461 updates to version 13.0.5865.1. Any version >=13.0.5865.1 has the update. You can see your version by running SELECT @@VERSION.

Is there a way to show or retrieve from any log to prove that KB4583461 had been installed previously to satisfy auditor ?
