License Windows Server 2019 Core Evaluation to Standard Core

Question

Hi,

I have two Hyperv Server Core evaulation servers and I want to license them to Server Core using Server 2019 OEM licenses. However the only option I have is to license it to ServerDatacentreCore.

Is this just a bug or known issue? Basically is there anyway around this? I don't want to use Hyper Server and the only ISO's I have access to are the evaulation ISO's at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2019

I have seen this link https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/f8703055-93b7-4552-b577-ce633f2b52e7/howto-convert-an-evaluation-core-version-to-standard-core with other people with the same issue but no answer.

I have tested this by spinning up a new version of Core and running the following commands:
dism /online /get-currentedition
dism /online /get-targeteditions

Does it have internet access? Well if it is indeed a bug then the support call will be free.

It does have internet access. Googling it seems like a common issue but nobody has an answer.

I'll try the support call and see where that gets me to.
