Basically I have an old outlook.com email address that has two-factor security enabled only the mobile phone number registered is ancient and I no longer have the SIM Card for that old mobile phone number. Further more my email account sbb76@harsh.com .com was Hijacked by someone who also managed to change the Password on me so I have absolutely no idea what the Password is and as I have 2FA-Enabled on this Microsoft email account so are unable to reset the Password via the normal means available. What can I do? Seemingly i am totally locked out of my own outlook email account.

Is there any way to get the 2FA-Enabled Security disabled by Microsoft so that I may reset my Password or could they just simply update the mobile phone number to my current mobile phone number? Surely there must be something that can be done by Microsoft to be able to reset my Password and finally be once again able to login to my Microsoft sbb76@harsh.com .com email account.

    Outlook.com (hotmail) is not currently supported here on Q&A. The product group for Outlook.com actively monitors questions in dedicated forums here.

    If an account access problem then also try resetting via the account recovery form

    @Sean Blott ,

    We are sorry that you have to face this. In your case its quite difficult to recover the account as you do not have the old Phone number . there is a account recovery form for Microsoft accounts but that works only in case you do not have 2 factor authentication enabled. For security reasons we can not manually reset anything . Please go through the linked articles and see if that helps in any case.
