Where are the RBAC roles stored

Hi.. I want to know where does azure store the default and custom rbac roles in azure..

I know that AD roles are stored in Azure AD. But don't know where are those Azure rbac roles are actually stored.

Please enlighten. Thanks

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Azure role-based access control (Azure RBAC) roles are also stored in the source Azure AD directory where Azure subscription is associated so due to this dependency when transfer an Azure subscription to a different Azure AD directory then Azure RBAC roles are permanently deleted from the source directory and are not be transferred to the target directory.
