azure datalake storage Gen v2 and soft-delete

All,

I have a ADLS Gen V2 Hierarchical in which I created some containers and files. I deleted a container and a file in another container hoping to undo the delete of both. However, I was able to undo the delete of the Container but I was unable to undo the delete of the container.

The show deleted objects option is not showing the deleted blob/file.

I tried the same with ADLS Gen V2 (without Hierarchical) and I'm able to see the deleted blobs/containers.

Can someone guide me in the right direction?

    Hello @Gopinath Rajee ,

    Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

    When you enable soft-delete option it will show deleted containers and deleted objects/files and directory inside container.

    Note: Objects/Files are shown only inside container.
