Windows 11: Can't Sign in to Microsoft Store but account works for other Microsoft access

We have a hybrid environment where we use AD sync to synchronize our on premise AD accounts with Azure AD for access to Sharepoint online and Office 365. Brand new computer shipped with Windows 10 and upgraded to Windows 11. I can sign into Azure, Office 365 and Sharepoint just fine using my AD domain account . But signing in to use the Microsoft store I get "Your account password is incorrect". I get past the account lookup just fine.

Note that my work account is connected in Settings > Accounts > Access for work or school as a factor of registering and licensing Office 365 E3.

Anyone in an enterprise environment having similar issues or a workaround?

I disconnected the connection in Settings > Accounts > Access work or school. I'm accessing the store using the built-in Microsoft Store App. I did try a private Window using MS Edge and same results either way. However, I am able to login to the Store with a personal Hotmail account. But because this is a work resource I need to keep personal and work separate. If it helps. We have an on-premise domain synced to Azure AD with an on-premise ADFS server running Azure sync. For right now we have on-premise Exchange. I do have a name@mathieu.company .onmicrosoft.com alias attached to my Exchange account. Thanks!
