can't install SQL Server 2019 basic installaion

Hello,

I have been trying to download multiple time the SQL server developer 2019 basic installation but keep getting error :"path not found" and it also created few instances
so i need help with the installation and with deleting the multiple instances

can someone help me please?

No, I don't think anyone can help you, because we don't have access to your machine, and you don't share any information we can work from.

What do you mean with "and it also created few instances"? The normal meaning of "instance" in this context is an instance of SQL Server, but that would indicate that you actually installed SQL Server successfully.

Hi @Rain ,

Error can have many possibilities, so taking a screenshot of the error is a good option
and in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQLxx.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log, there are log files containing detailed error information.

"path not found" is possible that these files are corrupted or the access for these files is denied.
try to uninstalling sql server including your instances completely, and reinstalling it
