Success notification emails do get triggered for successful ADF pipeline run

I am using Azure monitor to set up success/failure email alerts for ADF pipeline run status. When a pipeline run fails, I am getting the failure email alerts. But I am not getting email notifications for pipeline successful runs.

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

I just tested Alert & Metrics feature for succeeded pipeline runs metric and was receiving email alerts as well as text notifications when the condition/criteria defined while creating the alert rule is met.

I suspect that there could be an issue with the alert rule configuration while defining the condition. I would recommend you to please check if the condition defined is correct and also double check the email address provided is a valid one.

Please try creating another alert rule or double the existing alert rule if the condition defined is correct.
