Clipboard history issue in Win 10 - 20H2

Hi all,

have trouble with fresh installed Enterprise images (domain members) based on 20H2 (64bit) . Clipboard itself works but Clipboard history isnt available. Tried all documents and links found relateted to this issue. Nothing helps (enabled in settings, local Group policy editor, regkeys ). Same machine with Win10 1809 (64bit) image deployed had the functionality. If we make an Inplace-Upgrade from 1809 to 20H2 clipboard history is available. But when we install 20H2 from the scratch it doesnt. This happens on every single fresh 20H2 installed machine. Does not depend which user is logged in or user privileges (admin or user). No central GPO is avoiding the feature. Pressing Windows-key+V shows no reaction. Couldn`t find a workaround or a solution.

Thanks in advance

Rainer

21H1 will not fix this issue. We have tried it with no success. We had a user in our environment that was having issues with the Snip tool and in the process of fixing this issue we were able to fix the WindowsLogo + V issue. Here ae the steps we took to get it working again.

    1. Change HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU to 0
    2. Run "gpedit.msc" to edit your local computer policy The setting in question is: Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Specify settings for optional component installation and component repair. My local policy seems to have defaulted to "Disabled" - after changing it to "Enabled" and selecting the checkbox labeled "Download repair content and optional features directly from Windows Update instead of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)" the RSAT tools installed for me.
    3. Run from elevated command prompt or SCCM Script:
      DISM /Online /Add-Capability/CapabilityName:Windows.Client.ShellComponents~~~~0.0.1.0

    Hello @Horn, Rainer

In this case I recommend that you directly install version 21H2, which is the latest version, because I believe that this way will fix the problem in the history of the clipboard.

For that, you can access the link below, download the Media Creation Tool and clean install the latest version:
