azure search datasource not recognizing type cosmosdb

I created a datasource from azure cosmos db , but they type is not getting recognized as Azure Cosmos Db, and the indexer is running successfully but it is not getting updated ,so I add a new data into cosmosdb and then after the indexer ran successfully I queried the data but I'm not getting the expected results.
My connection String is :
AccountEndpoint=https://[service name].documents.azure.com;AccountKey=...;Database=SampleDB;ApiKind=Gremlin;

Supplemental Terms of Use

Could you please confirm if Cosmos DB's is set to consistent ?

As for Azure Cognitive Search to index data in Cosmos DB through the Gremlin API, Cosmos DB's own indexing must also be enabled and set to Consistent.
This is the default configuration for Cosmos DB. Azure Cognitive Search indexing will not work without Cosmos DB indexing already enabled.

so I've set soft delete policy recently and the I added some data to cosmos db and then ran the indexer...but then the indexer started failing for invalid connection string, then I changed the connection string(gave primary connection string of cosmosdb ), and then ran the indexer again , it showed success, but if I search for the data in azure search, it is not giving me the data.

and as shown in the image , it is not recognizing the data source as cosmosdb.. could that be the issue?
