Hello
My question is a 2 parts, if you please.

  1. I have in the past worked with an INHERITED topology of Microsoft Azure and for some reason the EMAIL /Office 365 subscription was in one subscription and the subscription where we also had the same domain AD and all our other pay-as-you-go services was in another subscription ID. Is this the way all MS Portal are setup , does the Email and AD premium have to go in a separate subscription from your computer and storage services ? Or can they all be one subscription ID.

2) I also recently inherited a GoDaddy Domain AND Email services that is terrible. We need to migrate this to Azure Is there a step by step of migration service to accomplish this in Azure.

    @TomasuBoke

    About question 1, I don't quite understand the problem you describe. But I guess those information below may be useful to you:

    1. One Office 365 tenant could have multiple subscription licenses, such as in my lab, I have "Microsoft 365 Business Standard" and "Microsoft 365 E3" license:

    2. One subscription license contains multiple products in it, you could assign the product you want to specific user. You can also assign two licenses to one accout.

    About question 2

    For GoDaddy which supported IMAP protocol, Microsoft 365 provides the way to migrate it with IMAP.

    OK thanks for part 1 question answer on both counts.
    As to question 2 query, not sure how much more info I need to give.
    We want to migrate from GodaddyTenancey to MS Office 365 tenancy so we control everything in the admin portal having to do with office 365 as we currently cannot do that in GoDaddy.
    No need to provide an answer, the same question was posed on godaddy forums and we have an answer to the process. -ty
