I have a problem with Exchange 2016. My hierarchical address book(HAB) does not sort alphabetically and does not uses seniorityindex when outlook 2016 using cache mode. When i disable cache mode and use online mode, hierarchical address book(HAB) works fine and uses seniorityIndex with alphabetically sort. How can i do it for cache mode? I had used method with regedit from this page
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/contact-entries-are-not-sorted-alphabetically-in-a-hierarchical-address-book-in-outlook-2013-52d83f83-5cc2-8f3e-3535-3fc52f99e320,
but this method ignore seniorityindex.

P.S.
i think OAB have priority and HAB sorts group uses parameter creation date instead displayname

    Hi @GhostWins

I tested in my lab and seemed to reproduce this issue.

Have you updated OAB on Exchange server after you update the seniorityindex?
You may use this command in EMS to force the OAB update:

    Get-OfflineAddressBook | Upate-OfflineAddressBook

Once OAB is updated (in Exchange application log you should see Event 17001 followed by Event 17002)
please manually download OAB in Outlook: Send/Receive>Send/Receive Groups>Download Address Book.
And see if it can help with this issue.
