Master Data Services 2019 - Excel Add-in Filter Pane Option Hierarchy Tree View

Question

What does the Hierarchy Option in the Filter pain do? I used it on an entity where I have a recursive hierarchy containing a general ledger account structure and it appears to only report the top Parent Level or give me the option to select a parent code. Is that all this does or is there more functionality I'm missing out on?

Try to add attribute in the columns first,and then operate
Filtering with MDS Add-in for Excel
