Hi @Stephen Damanskis , is the MFA for signing in to their local machine? Are you using any VMs?

Hi James. I have not heard back from the user but I'm fairly sure that he's running a Windows 10 VM on a MAC. Thant's all I know at this time.. Thanks for any help or pointing me into right direction.

Hi @Stephen Damanskis , have you followed this document? It details the steps needed for your ask. Are you encountering any issues with setting up MFA, or are you just trying to add the QR code feature?

I reckon there are a few ways this question could go.

My "un-educated MAC self" asks : Is there is a way for a remote MAC to MFA authenticate onto a hybrid Azure AD Domain infrastructure?

If not the above: How do you setup a VM (inside a MAC) to look externally to authenticate onto a corporate hybrid AD Domain?

OR if you can tell me how to expose a QR code for the user to use, that would help. Apparently my MAC user can run with the QR code if I could supply it, but I cannot find how to do that.

Hi @Stephen Damanskis , remote MAC to MFA authentication is more trouble than it's worth, so I recommend option 2. Are you using virtual desktop? If so, this all can be configured here. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I misunderstood the question!

"MAC" = Media Access Control.
"Mac" = Macintosh / macOS.
