Hi - Is there a way to find out vcores and ram corresponding to say 100 DWU's?

In documentation its mentioned that 100 DWU will correspond to 1 compute node but i'd like to know the ram and vcores if possible?

Thanks

    Hi @Rakesh Singh ,

Thank you for posting query in Microsoft Q&A Platform.

A dedicated SQL pool (formerly SQL DW) represents a collection of analytic resources that are being provisioned. Analytic resources are defined as a combination of CPU, memory, and IO.

These three resources are bundled into units of compute scale called Data Warehouse Units (DWUs). A DWU represents an abstract, normalized measure of compute resources and performance.

Yes as you rightly pointed 100DWUs is equal to 1 compute node. There will be 60 distributions per compute node. Click here to know more about same.

Regarding exact RAM and vcores details I am checking with internal team if any insights I can get. I will update thread once I get some updates.

    Hope I this helps.
