Hello everyone,

i have a question, namely that in The Netherlands where i am from we dont use creditcards, at all.
we have debitcards, but usually either from Vpay or maestro, and they usually have no cvc code.

so we cannot use these to verify ourselfs for the free azure account.
is there another way to do this? i already contacted both Azure sales and the local MS support number, but both tell me to go to the help.microsoft.com, and thats less then helpful.

and dont even get me started on that chatbot, it literally just looped me from asking what i wanted help with to the end of conversation script, really frustrating, since i need this account for my training in Azure, AZ-900 and after that the new AZ-800 line

Answer: no, i can not use this at all right now, unless i spefically request a CC from my bank, which they will charge me 3x as much for and also probably get denied anyway since i am a student with not enough cashflow to make that useful.

    As per Microsoft Faq.
    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/free-account-faq/

We use the phone number and credit card or debit card for identity verification to validate that account holders are real people and not bots. We don't charge your credit card or debit card anything when you sign up for Azure, but you may see a one-dollar verification hold on your credit card or debit card account. The hold is temporary and will be removed, never charged to you.
