Will Microsoft defender for endpoint work for offline systems

Hi

We are looking for a security and overwatch system that will work with our offline servers and systems.

Will Microsoft defender for endpoint function in this type of system or will it only be accesible through internet browsers?

    MDE requires connectivity to the cloud endpoints. It does not support truly air-gapped systems. There is a gateway option if that is acceptable.
