When I try to create a cluster in Azure Databricks, I keep seeing the below error:

Cluster terminated.Reason:Azure Quota Exceeded Exception

Error code: InvalidTemplateDeployment, error message: The template deployment failed with error: 'The resource with id: '/subscriptions/697d225e-ebf0-4f41-bd62-8301ae0c23ef/resourceGroups/databricks-rg-DatabricksCourse-e7ogzhqlxgsre/providers/Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines/2f24d41303fd459ab83c9b4fb890ebe1' failed validation with message: 'The requested size for resource '/subscriptions/xxxxxxxx-ebf0-4f41-bd62-8301ae0c23ef/resourceGroups/databricks-rg-DatabricksCourse-e7ogzhqlxgsre/providers/Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines/2f24d41303fd459ab83c9b4fb890ebe1' is currently not available in location 'eastus' zones '' for subscription 'xxxxxxxx-ebf0-4f41-bd62-8301ae0c23ef'. Please try another size or deploy to a different location or zones. See https://aka.ms/azureskunotavailable for details.'.'.

I tried for different regions with different compute option but this keeps happing for any option I choose. I have also not used any of my quota as I created this Azure account just today. Please advice.

    Hello @Suraj Suresh Sajjan ,

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

Glad to know you are able to create the cluster.

Why aren't any of the machines available in the US + Canada region for my subscription?

By default, for any subscription there will be specific limit on the VM cores available per region based on the OfferType. Certain Azure regions require customers to go through a request process in order to gain access. To request access to these regions, a customer or their Cloud Solution Provider may open a support request and work with our Support team to discuss or enable access.

Note: If a SKU isn't available for your subscription in a location or zone that meets your business needs, submit a SKU request to Azure Support (Which is complete at free cost).

Hope this will help. Please let us know if any further queries.
