Cannot access Azure with Github Student

Whilst trying to use an offer from Azure from GitHub student unfortunately I ran into an error. I cannot create an account for Azure with the E-Mail from my university although it is already accepted as student account on GitHub and reverifying my 'academic affiliation' worked instantly. The error displayed to me is "Ihre Universitäts-ID kann nicht bestätigt werden" ("Your University-ID could not be verified"). I already made sure to connect my GitHub account with this exact email and tried to log in using GitHub but to no avail. Why does this error occur when the same process has worked in the past?

    Hi @Jerome Petrov , sorry about this! Sometimes student accounts can be finicky. Since I assume you can't access the portal in any capacity, please open a ticket here and we can get this resolved!
