Azure Communication Group calling hero sample Teams meeting recording stopped working

Hello, we have been using Group Calling Hero Sample application to test ACS features and we noticed a change in the app behaviour. The Group Calling Hero allows a user to join a Teams meeting from the web browser via an invite link. We noticed that if there's a Teams user already in the meeting (connected via Teams mobile application or Teams desktop application) then trying to record the meeting (via Group Calling Hero UI) will fail with a 500 Server Error and a "Recording could not be started" message. We're certain that this scenario was working several weeks ago. If no one else joins from the Teams app and there's just one person in the meeting (joined through Group Calling Hero), the meeting recording will start just fine.

Is this a bug or was this feature (the ability to record Teams meetings) turned off? This scenario is very important for us so I'm looking forward to any info or ETAs regarding that.

For the context: we need to be able to connect webapp users with Teams mobile app users and record the call. Do you have any recommendations on how can this be achieved? AFAIK Teams mobile app allows to only join Teams meetings, and not group calls. On the other hand, only group calls recording is available, and Teams meeting recording is turned off (or bugged).

    We heard back from the engineering team, and they confirmed that ACS does not currently support your scenario as of today. However, it is on the roadmap. You can find details about what's supported here in this doc:
