I did see how to change the settings on the Crestron panel audio so it doesn't use the room's sound bar. I've muted the volume on the panel so it doesn't audibly chime. That's a good workaround for now.
Great to see that you've found a good workaround for this and really appreciated it for your sharing!
By the way, since the Microsoft Q&A community has a policy that "The question author cannot accept their own answer. They can only accept answers by others." and according to the scenario introduced here: Answering your own questions on Microsoft Q&A, I would make a brief summary of this thread:
[Disable Join Room Audio]
Issue description:
“We have our Teams rooms set up and have created resource accounts for them so they appear when teachers wish to join room audio. The problem is students across campus could join a meeting, choose join room audio and pick a random room. Then the Crestron panel in that random room starts going off and interrupting class. Any way we can restrict who can join room audio?”
Workaround:
Change the settings on the Crestron panel audio so it doesn't use the room's sound bar and mute the volume on the panel so it doesn't audibly chime.
