Hello, I went through and followed the steps to update the Teams App on a Tap offline.
Everything was running correctly and when it got to the very end I get the following error:

D:\MTR-Update-4.12.126.0.ps1 : Cannot bind argument to parameter 'Message' because it is an empty string.
At line:1 char:1

  • D:\MTR-Update-4.12.126.0.ps1
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • CategoryInfo : InvalidData: (:) [MTR-Update-4.12.126.0.ps1], ParameterBindingValidationException
  • FullyQualifiedErrorId : ParameterArgumentValidationErrorEmptyStringNotAllowed,MTR-Update-4.12.126.0.ps1

I didnt write the script it came from Microsoft here. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/manual-update

Any help would be awesome!

I fixed this issue today when trying to update a Yealink MTR from version 4.15.58.0 to 4.19.82.0 (I also tried version 4.19.57.0 which failed). After the second attempt failed, I simply ran Windows Updates manually via Settings, rebooted (Update & Restart) and attempted the script for MTR version 4.19.57.0 again which worked like a charm. I suspect it's a rare occurrence, as I have manually updated 20-30 MTR's this past month without a single issue. Failing that, leaving it connected to the network overnight for a day or two will usually let it update on its own.
