Hi,

I have a colleague who reported this issue to us today.

When signing into another user account on Teams, the same issues still occur. The policies applied to the users are all organization wide policies, but no other users are having this problem. The user has endured with this problem for around a year, with no one else being affected.

The problems persist when anti-virus is completely disabled.

Since the problem began so long ago, we’re not sure if there were any settings which have affected the user.

To explain the problem in more detail:

If the user makes a call there is a 50/50 chance that they will be able to hear the person they are calling. It is common for screen sharing so cause the call to drop, and for general bugginess of calls. For example, when the screen that says “Sorry, we couldn’t connect you” comes up we thought the call had dropped.

On one occasion we were still able to speak to each other, despite this message displaying and the call appearing to have ended.

The users internet connection is fine, and this has been tested on multiple networks. The laptop has been completely replaced. All peripherals have been unplugged.

Again, scheduled meetings operate perfectly fine, including when screen sharing and having the camera on.
