Device template property form builder: can't select properties of components having the same interface

Hello,

I have noticed a blocking issue in the properties form builder of the app when your main model contains two or more components of the same interface. Just like the TemperatureController example in the IOT Central documentation.

If you try to define a form page for controlling those properties, you cannot select a component property to be shown in the panel other than the first one.
More specifically:

  • if you click on any of the properties, the UI selects the property of the first component of the set
  • if you drag any of the properties, it takes the property of the last component of the set

Below an image of where I get this (I believe UI-based) problem, which I couldn't find among the existing questions here.
Btw I don't have issues of any sort in controlling my PnP models connected to an IoT Hub.
I've tried with different browsers, no luck so far.

Can someone replicate this?

    Hello @Davide Ribezzo ,

I want to thank you so much for reporting this bug here. We have confirmed this as a bug and have implemented a fix which will be deployed soon.

In the meantime the workardound is: tabbing with the keyboard and pressing spacebar . See below.
